Is this real life?!!?!? This team is very respectable with even mediocre QB play. Focus the draft on defensive depth and maybe another CB, let's get another playmaker across from Gordon - and draft a developmental QB.

Side note: Buster might be the most improved player on the team.

I think one thing we can say we know for certain as the season approaches its halfway point...Brandon Weeden is the worst quarterback in the NFL, and quite possibly in clowns history.

Only been maybe 1 or 2 other points since their return where I've felt they were close.

This feels like they are close to something here.

Which means something will go to hell in the next week.
They are clearly a good QB away from being a competitive team. They are a totally different team when Weeden isn't on the field. If they can play like this with a castoff (Hoyer) and a mediocre journeyman (Campbell), they are really close. If they can get a decent RB next year, draft a QB to learn behind Hoyer, they MIGHT be onto something...


...that said, this being cleveland, they'll fuck it up somehow.
