i will say the indians might be the worst team in baseball at going opposite field because Francona cant get a hitting coach worth a damn. Thats all you have to do is beat a Tito team, hit the opposite side corners and its game over.

no they dont have to win out, 4 wins, including the WS beating the Royals 2 out of 4, gets them in.the Royals have struggled with the Sox this year, infact i believe they just got swept by them and the Sox beat the Kitties in detroit tonight. the indians haven't played the Rays so who knows how that series will go, but the indians did win 2 out of 3.

If they go 4-1, they are 86-76...that would mean KC can only win one more game, because they are sitting on 85 wins. And that doesn't factor in Seattle, who sit at 83-73. So they have to go 3-3 or 2-4. Oakland and Detroit, at 86-70, would have to go 0-6 for us to catch them. So basically we need to go 5-0 and hope KC and Seattle only win 1-2 more games each. Not the most realistic of scenarios.
