I hope to God I'm wrong, but Ubald-O is going to be an epic disaster.

I'd say its a very good chance he is an epic disaster

he has done nothing to show other wise from last season with the Indians and during this spring....It would be a "win" if he can somehow manage to keep his ERA in the low 4s and win around 10 games....but I dont think there is even a very good chance of that happening.

Eh, never run your mouth in the media about a guy who gets the opportunity to throw a baseball at 90+ mph at you. That's the lesson I take away. I also don't mind seeing him plunk him because it's not like he threw at his head and maybe we need to show a little fight in our team. We already have the Bullpen Mafia - maybe the name is rubbing off on the starters as well...

And what the Rockies manager said was fucking hilarious. Calling intentionally hitting Troy the most gutless act ever yada yada...shut the fuck up because i'm sure the Rockies have never intentionally hit someone with a pitch.

I guess he at least can stll hit for a decent average?

Vladimir Guerrero worked out for Cleveland Indians scouts at the club's academy in the Dominican Republic, sources told ESPNDeportesLosAngeles.com.

"Guerrero was here today at the Indians' academy in Bocachica," said one source. "There seems to be a genuine interest by the Indians to see if he can help the team."

One source indicated the 2004 AL MVP was in good shape during the tryout, which was observed, among others, by Ramon Pena, Indians' director of operations on the island.

Pena declined to comment and didn't wanted to confirm the meeting. Guerrero's agents did not return calls by ESPNDeportesLosAngeles.com.

Guerrero, 37, has a .318 batting average with 449 homers and 1,496 RBIs over 16 MLB seasons.

The nine-time All-Star batted .290 with 13 homers and 65 RBIs last season with the Baltimore Orioles.

Fernando Cuza, Guerrero's agent, recently said that his client would be willing to try his luck in Japan if he couldn't find a spot with a major league team before the season starts.

Presuming you meant your choice and not their respective physcial positions (although I must admit with respect to the gals that last part does have some merit :!):

kate upton over pamela anderson
