Yeah why be an actual fan, why not just a nice guy with nothing going in life and is probably too broke to pay the $10 to attend a game and just sit on BP all day telling everyone how bad the indians are, sounds like you got it made.

So you actually know how baseball works? Well I actually know how math works.

If 90 wins is the "magic number" to get into the playoffs, then Detroit and Kansas City (both currently 11-3) need to go 79-69 (.534 winning percentage) the rest of the way, while the Indians (currently 5-8) need to go 85-64 (.570 winning percentage). In other words, the Tigers and Royals have to play 10 games over .500, and the Indians have to play 21 games over .500. Not utterly meaningless.
