Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Well now that the Indians have won 8 in a row...wait, what the fuck did I just say?
I'm not sure, but your words frighten me. I fear there are little gods inside this device talking to me. But I'm just a caveman, unaware of how these modern things work. But I do know this - in order for the Indians to continue this hot streak the starting and relief pitching has to hold up and the breaks have to keep going their way.

what happens when Grady comes off the 15 day disabled list?

Move Brantley to left, slide Sizemore into the 6 spot in the batting order? I just can't see Grady at the top of the line-up with the way Brantley and Cabrera are doing right now.

Yeah, you DON'T mess with the top of the lineup. Brantley & Cabrera is what a 1/2 in a baseball lineup should be.

What I would do is start Sizemore at #6 and see how he hits. He can end up hitting anywhere from #3-#6. But if I see him as #1 or #2 I will just :bonk:

I would like to see Grady start out in the 7 slot personally. Let him adjust to the speed of the game for a couple of weeks and then go from there. If he returns to 2005-2008 form I say move him up to 3 and then depending on how Choo is doing then adjust accordingly.

The best part about last night's game was that our bullpen is well rested now. Both Perezes and Sipp pitched the previous two games and now everyone in that pen (Vinny P included) could pitch today if needed.

All while making their bullpen put in 4 full innings. That's a huge advantage in game 1 for the Tribe. Hopefully Carmona can follow up his last start with another solid outing to hopefully keep this streak going.

Dodged a bullet this series missing Dream Weaver as well...Haren is tough but I think we can take him. So let's talk about all the teams behind us in the standings right now...wait, that's more than one team? I don't know what to do...

Bats need to get consistent. They've been hot in spurts, but it's typically been due to one big inning. Santana is slumping badly, too...

0-16. He just doesn't look comfortable up there like he did vs. the Sox's...not working counts, out on his front foot, ahead of everything, reaching...just doesn't look comfortable. Hopefully a day off on Thursday and a return trip home this weekend will give him a much needed confident boost.
