Not looking good, but I weirdly have hope still.

I like the makeup of this team….they’re just struggling with any sort of consistency right now.

Need a Mark Grace slumpbuster……

The offense has just reverted finally to what was expected before the season. The bullpen is complete gassed at this point too so it’s dropping off as well. Won’t be surprised at this point if they totally missed the playoffs.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I think they go on a run here shortly. The bats have been quiet.

Kwan has been quiet.

Their confidence is shaken but I think they’ve got enough to at least be a Wild Card.

Keep in mind, the Twins and Royals are also going balls to walls to win division and have stretched their teams to claw back. I would not be surprised at all to see Minny and KC hit a wall as we come down the stretch.

If anything, I think Vogt has been too conservative with our players, in an effort to keep them fresh. We could be seeing that in real time as KC and Minny close ground, but we put our foot back on the pedal in 1-2 weeks.

While frustrating to see the slumps, it’s been fun to watch this summer.

They are going to have to do something to shake up the lineup if they want any kind of chance.

There's got to be someone in the minors who could give even a remotely better spark than some of these guys right now. It's at least worth a shot instead of standing put and watching these guys struggle to even make contact.

They’re pressing…..hard to watch after seeing how they played prior to All-Star break.

These guys are swinging at absolute trash……curve balls way off the plate…..it’s rough to watch when you know what they’re capable of. They need to relax and get back to basics, which includes contact over power. The strike-outs and short at bats are not what Cleveland built the season on. Time to make some adjustments and get back after it…..

Kwan Jose and Naylor carried the offense through the first half (with some help from Fry)

Those 3 have all hit a major decline.

Anything that's not a fastball this whole lineup just closes their eyes and swings on.

Lane Thomas was a HORRIBLE acquisition, they were better off doing nothing, I think he just helps the throwing off of the offense even more.

Well they looked dead in the water but managed to score 4 runs in the 7th, tack on a insurance run in the 8th and win 7-5 to avoid a 4 game sweep and stay on top of the division for another day.

Maybe the type of win that can get a team back on track?

Now go win at least 2/3 against the Pirates this weekend before 3 more against the Royals starts on Monday. (The Royals play @ The Astros over the weekend, lets hope they get swept)
