No clue why they thought acquiring Spencer Howard and throwing him into the rotation was a good idea, dude is terrible, better off just rolling with either Allen or McKenzie.

About to drop 3/4 to Detroit and the Twins are gaining ground. They are going to actually have to do something real about the SP and not just try to patch it with dumpster dives or a 2nd half collapse is likely

I suspect (hope) that they were just trying to get to the All-Star Break. Then with four off days, they can hit the phones hard and maybe grab another arm by the end of next week. They've got quite a collection of young middle infielders. You can't play them all and they're running out of minor league options. Time to trade from some of that depth to pick up a reliable starter!

Guardians have the first pick tonight. Who are they going to choose? I have no clue. My guess is either Condon out of GA or Bazzana from Oregon State. Let's hope they buck the trend of best player often not being the first overall pick.

Looks like expert opinion is switching to them taking the discount guy (WV SS) because of course, would be a typical Cleveland move

it’s starting to feel like with everyone else making moves already that they aren’t going to do shit. So they’ll likely end up stumbling into the playoffs and making a quick comical exit.

Well they finally made a move, Thomas crushes LHP but is terrible against righties and awful as a fielder. Also they gave up a top 10 prospect + 2 others, think thats kinda high for a dude like this. Definitely looking like a sellers market this year.

I've read he is solid in the outfield and was a Gold Glove finalist last season. However, I haven't watched him. Hopefully he is at least slightly above average in the field.

It also sounds like this won't be the final trade.
