Nah, he has made a lot of questionable moves. Pinch hitting early in the game and the overuse of the bullpen is primary among them.

Can they actually take advantage of the momentum this time? The last 2 times they had playoff walkoffs vs the Yankees (2017 and 2022) they went on to get embarrassed in the insuring games losing all of them and both series.

Who knows but this game could get weird real fast. I think they just need to be super patient and have good AB's and do everything they can to get into the Yankees pen early. Both the starters could be rusty, and Gil will get nibbly, I think if he's a little off, they can let him get himself in trouble.
