The sad thing is no changes will be made. Ownership 100% will take making the ALCS as them doing the best job and that they don't have to even try to spend anymore.

They aren't scoring in this game. Everyone except Kwan is in swing for the fences mode. Going for solo HRs every AB down 3 is a hell of a strategy

If I understand things correctly, the minority owner's window to become majority owner is the completion of the 2027 MLB season. That doesn't mean he will execute it, but he has the option. I do believe Dolan will stay as minority owner in some fashion.

They can find anyone and turn him into a stellar pitcher but can’t get a player to hit for consistency. I’ve never figured it out and it drives me nuts.

I honestly can't recall ever seeing a worse AB in such a big situation. Dude just decided he was going up and swinging as hard as he could no matter what was thrown.

If they play next year things aren't really looking good. Lineup is bad and they won't spend to improve it and then you are in a not good position starting pitching wise now. Which they also won't spend to fix. At least lame duck Vogt will get to keep tipping his cap though?
