Don't know who the young man is in the dugout level seats there along first base side, but he needs to be at every game until the Guardians are done. I saw him on the White Sox series and obviously he is good luck!

With the Brewers completing the sweep the MLB has pushed the start time back from 6 to 8. Looks like they are going to try to play it even though the weather is going to be absolutely dog shit (windy AF) even if the rain stops. Guessing since they have an unopposed time slot tonight they don't want to go up against the NFL on Sunday unless they absolutely have to

Shaw Armstrong will get the opening nod tonight. Presumably Cantillo will take over in the 2nd or maybe 2nd+ inning depending on how Armstrong does.
Offense is going to have to be on with that setup.
The weather might wreak absolute havoc with delays though. I think the MLB is pretty determined to push this game through no matter what.

nobody wants to watch any WS games in TB's sterile boring stadium. We need this to be Milw/Clev. Fall weather. crowds jacked to the gills.....LFG

Each time the ball hit the turf in the outfield my first thought was "It really must have rained a lot." And then I had to remind myself it was a domed stadium.

Normally that would be the case but the wind is directly coming from the North off the lake ( that direction would left field to home plate) .
Most likely any push the ball back to home plate to in hitting it to left field or push ball hit to right field towards home plate and foul ground on the first base side .
Someone going to have to cut through that to get it out.

They are proceeding with trying to play this. I don't think it's happening at 8 though. Likely 930ish is more realistic for the 1st pitch.
It's not just the rain, they gotta make sure they have the field good enough to play too. Warning track was completely flooded that's gonna take some work.
