Does it really matter? We all know the Clowns will reach for someone (QB?) that won't be on the team in 3 years...

It will be Sackenberg, the boring, turnover prone statue that will have fans screaming for Johnny after one possessionDoes it really matter? We all know the Clowns will reach for someone (QB?) that won't be on the team in 3 years...
Indeed a new and unprecedented low.The browns came close to making me feel bad for manziel. For that, fuck them.
I believe Tom Brenneman about a lot of things...but I don't believe him when he says he has friendsNever thought it was possible but Charles Davis gives Verne Lundquist a real run for his 'dumbest commentator alive' trophy

I know we can't really fire Pettine. But we need to fire Pettine. I've probably said it ad nauseum but, if the D was competent and just needed a piece here or there... It would be one thing. But that's his thing... With guys he picked to play there.. And it's just bad.
All I know is... I regularly see ilb's having responsibility for gaps with guards out on them. Ray Lewis himself isn't winning that matchup much.here's the thing about the defense. it's rex ryan's brain child. rex ryan is on the verge of getting run out of buffalo because the defense hates that scheme so much, and they are horrible on that side of the ball, despite having immense talent.
so, you have mike pettine who is rex ryan's hand me down trying to implement that scheme, which he's never really done successfully on his own. add to it, you have o'neil, who is in no way qualified to be a DC trying to implement pettine's hand me down version. so, o'neil is basically like the 4th Michael Keaton in the movie Multiplicity.
the scheme itself was a fad that has since faded out. no different than when the 46 was the thing, until it didn't work anymore. so, an outdated scheme, run by a couple of slackwits = a brown's defense that is vying for the worst since the return.

Wait? They have a scheme? I was confused.does it matter when you have a coaching staff that regularly trots out badamosi at cb because they didn't think desir practiced well enough one day during the week? i mean, what is the flaw in telling your DL to see how an OL is going to try and block you before making a move, and don't worry about gap responsibility? this specific scheme has not been successful in stopping the run in years. if you read info about comments by the players, they hate the scheme and don't understand the coaching staff nor their illogical substitutions.
No kidding. Look they hit some nice slants (or at least one) in that kind of down and distance... And thats just a good play... But they were doing the soft shit on 3rd and long... Uh.. The ball is going to the line to gain jackasses.I don't know what you guys are complaining about, playing soft and off the WR by 5 yards on 3rd and 3 is pretty sound and from a technique and tactic stand point we are too beneath the staff to comprehend.
