Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

They probably aren't getting money from the city/county to build a dome in Brook Park so if the Haslam's want to foot the bill for a dome and a pregame village I don't really care. At least a dome would get used more than 10 times a year and they could turn the lakefront into a park like Chicago, but with this instead of the bean:View attachment 39747
Only if they name it Disappointment Field at Factory of Sadness Stadium.

If they are shooting for a domed stadium at Brookpark plan on them asking for $1B plus from the public. And I would expect they somehow try and get a regional “tax” beyond cuyahoga county, but without a vote because I doubt that would get approved.

All this for a garbage franchise that has never made a Super Bowl. Hell, I think they have one freakin’ playoff win since they returned LAST century. Turd sculpture is right!

I know I’m just an old irrelevant fuck, but I like the stadium right where it is. The mistake by the lake, the factory of sadness.

When I was in Cleveland last month (first time in many years), one of the guys I was working with mentioned this. Brook Park (the airport in particular) is such a shit hole. A revitalization wouldn't be a bad thing. However, it's definitely going to be a fleecing of the people of Cleveland and quite possibly the state of Ohio. Is the Haslam running for Congress in Ohio related to Jimmy?

I have no doubt the leadership in Cbus will find a way to F over the citizens. They did it with the bribery from First Energy that only cost residents $1.3 B, so what is another billion or two.

I have not heard of any Haslam running for Congress in Ohio. It wouldn't surprise me since Jimmuh's brother was governor of TN.

There was a Dolan running for Senate but I believe he lost in the primary.

So Jerry Jeudy has picked a Twitter fight with Mark Schlereth and as usual comes across like an entitled punk diva. This after he has previously picked fights with Shannon Sharpe, Steve Smith and others. He has the maturity of an 8 year old. I wonder why the Broncos let him go for a 6th rounder. He has never had a 1000 yard season, and averages 3 touchdowns and change per year. He will be another Browns bust.

He's effectively a 6th round pick for the Browns.
I doubt he's a "bust" for that investment.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson says he's back to throwing full speed

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson said he's "throwing at full speed" again, as he continues to work his way back from last year's season-ending right shoulder injury.

Watson underwent surgery in November to repair a displaced fracture to the glenoid in his throwing shoulder.

"Everything is full motion," Watson said Tuesday after reporting for Cleveland's offseason program. "Everything is fluid and motion is really good. The velocity and the strength is really good."
