Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

As long as Chubb stays healthy I don't think the receiving ability of the RB will matter much when you have that group of WR all over the field. Duke might have been a better receiver, but I don't think the others are slouches. Dump it to any of the 3 of them at the LoS after the WR's have been spreading the field out for 3-4 seconds and magic could happen. The only reason I was hoping they would hold onto Duke was as insurance against something happening to Chubb until Hunt can play. This just makes the second half of the game tonight more interesting since they will be looking for a 3rd RB for the first half of the season. Bonus Watson is the QB on the keeper fantasy team I inherited so it gives him another weapon to throw to.

I mean as more than a receiving option from just the backfield. Duke can be an honest threat flexed out - that big first down vs the Jets on that pivot he ran was nasty. Smoked the LB and Adams, IIRC.

It's just nice to have as many options possible is all. Im sure this offense will hum along just fine.

That's a pretty impressive haul for a guy that has never been a starter and is overpaid compared to the results on the field. Here's hoping he has a healthy season in Texas.

The results on the field aren't really of Duke's creation. The product around him has been well below average since we drafted him. He was probably our best player not named Joe Thomas the moment Cleveland took him, TBH.

On the other hand he had his worst season stats wise last year when the team actually had some talent around him. I will agree that the Browns never found the right way to use him so hopefully things work out with the Texans. I wish him 30 receiving TD's from Watson. :banger:
