I agree. He really just got noticed on a national level last week. Tonight was another chance to shine, and it just isn't happening so far. 11 carries for 21 yards through 3 quarters.

By the way, Fowler said that Davis led the nation in TD's with 16, before he scored his 17th tonight. That's wasn't accurate, since Ian Johnson of Boise State has 18 TDs. Both guys had played 8 games before tonight, and all of their TDs were on the ground.

Yes I saw that about Johnson. It is also probably why NFBuck bet on Clemson. :biggrin:
Clemson looks out of it now, If they dont get a play or two this game is over.

Being a Clemson fan must be tough. Every year they're decent, but it seems like they can never get over the hump b/c they're always sure to lose at least a few road games. Worst part is that you can often see the losses coming, such as before the game at BC this year.

Hey BB73 did you know that Va Tech has only been the underdog 3 times in the past 12 years @ home.

You just can't go against them at home on Thurs. Nite. It was nice doubling my Vcash even tho it was only like 200+.:biggrin: Stupid Horns last week.

Hmmm...next time Virginia Tech fans start spouting off about how good thier program has become, remind them that they rushed the field after beating #10 Clemson in a dull game. You'd think they hadn't won a big game in years...oh wait :ohwell:
