Clemson 27, Ga Tech 30 (final)

Couldn't stay away folks.

So here's a hypothetical for you.

I'm going to set you up against your main division rival. You're gonna play the game at home and your crowd is going to be going insane.

Also, I'm giving you a 1st round lock at RB (and potential Heisman candidate) and I'm also giving you a stable of quick-quicker-and quickest backs to spell him. I'm giving you a QB who's wonderfully mobile and can take a lot of hits. I'm giving you an offensive line who is excellent at run blocking and a group of big WR's who block downfield very well. And you've got an above average special teams unit.

Also I'm spotting you 21 points in the first quarter of the game and you are running an offense that's terribly difficult to prepare for in one week - but you get to play the game on a short week (only 4 days prep).

Your opponent has a freshman QB and a slightly banged up RB and is well know for quitting when the going gets tough.

HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU EVER GIVE UP THE LEAD IN THAT GAME????

Welcome to GA Tech football. Jesus H. Christ....

I'm pulling for GT, and I thought that was a weak holding call that wiped out the huge Clemson gain.

Damn, that call could easily decide the game.

Looked like the refs tried to give GT a weak hold to make up for the one on Clemson.

Regardless, what looked like a blowout sure turned into a helluva game. Maybe some early season OT?

Georgia Tech has called about ten more pass plays than I would've in that situation.

GT should not have called timeout after their first down play. That's the reason that Clemson has 1 left now. They'll have a decent chance at getting their own FG.
