Northmont hosts state football power Cleveland St. Ignatius on

Friday, Aug. 29.

You might think the team's Web site would feature information about the Wildcats' storied history, Ignatius' last-second 20-17 loss to Cleveland Glenville in Week 1 or features from Northmont's nice rally to beat Mason.

But the home page lets parents know detailed uniform washing instructions, complete with several do's and don'ts.

Actually, it's nice to see someone give directions. Too many teams have seven shades of colors to their jerseys through faulty cleaning. For the record, the Thunderbolts are wearing green jerseys and white pants against St. Ignatius.

As for the game against the Wildcats, Northmont QB Chase Belton — who had two touchdown passes and one TD run against Mason — said: "I'm ready. Everybody else is going to be ready with me."
