Classiest Fans I have ever seen

This coming from a Vol fan, i have read some of the threads on here the past few days and was in attendance of the game yesterday at TBA and also in San Antonio on March 22, 2007 and i will have to say that Buckeye fans are the classiest fans i have ever been around... Being a fan of the SEC and UT all i hear from Gator, Bama, LSU, etc. fans are trash talk and are unreasonable and delusional beings when it comes to matchups with them.. My girlfriend is a Buckeye and she hates UT but she still doesnt rub it in my face when yall beat us or do something good against us and i noticed that the other Buckeye fans that were at the game were the same way and I am no Big 10 fan in anyway but i have to admit that i damn well respect OSU fans and your program and wish u the best as u continue conference play and for the rest of the season..

Again i want to applaud your class and respect that yall have shown over the past couple of seasons because Class, Respect and Reasonability are definitely things that are uncommon down here in the SEC

Always nice to hear.... good luck and beat UK. My in-laws live in Lexington and there are not to many fans less dilusional then UK fans (not my in-laws who are UL fans) Its funny to watch them beat their chest and continue to lose to UTenn in football every year. I think they may put a replica NC trophy in their trophy case after going 8-5 and beating a limping FSU team.:biggrin:

Nice words rockytop - who would you rate as the classiest OOC fans at a Vols home football game? (Especially relevant as the Vols are one of the few SEC teams that routinely travel OOC for football - which gets a lot of plaudits from me).

Well there havent been many teams OOC come into Neyland Stadium that werent from the south or a small school that really had no room to talk trash, but i remember a few years back when we lost to Notre Dame they're fans really impressed me by not throwing it in our faces even though a lot of our fans were talking trash, but after the game they basically said good game and went home safely..

I am accustomed to SEC fans talking trash and have come to the point where i almost like it because i know we have the chance to show them up, but at the same time i just dont think its neccessary to make the situation a personal issue and that's what some vol fans were doing yesterday at the game when yall went on a run and went up 46-39
