I wanted to thank everyone for the tremendous effort during our Spring Fundraiser 2006. As most of you know, much need money was raised for Clarity's bills (medical and otherwise), but just as importantly, many needed contacts were discovered, and avenues of action identified.

During the Spring Fundraiser, the kind folks at m2marketing of Columbus donated 40 t-shirts and 50 wrist bands to use for fundraising efforts. Many of you know Ryan Miller of tOSU fame. He, and partner Meg McCabe, run m2marketing, which administer several high profile web sites ... including coachtressl.com. At the time, it wasn't convenient to add those items to the fundraising mix. The drive was partially completed and we already had t-shirts as an incentive. We decided to hold off on the coachtressel.com t-shirts and bands to allow everyone a break from the fundraising and a chance to save a few dollars for the next event. That time is now. If you would like a coachtressel.com t-shirt, please post on this thread. There are limited quantities available in limited sizes. Whoever posts first (or PMs me), receive the first choice of shirt size. Once they are gone, they are gone. Same goes for the bands. We have 50 of those ... first come, first serve. Obviously, we will wait until your donation is confirmed (either thru PayPal or check to Clarity) before shipping. If (for some reason) your donation isn't received, the merchandise will be thrown back into the mix and anyone else can then claim it with the appropriate donation.
There are 4 Donation "Buttons" set up in the PayPal section. The first one is a generic button for any donation at any time. The other 3 are specific to this fundraiser. #2 is for a $20 donation and a coachtressel.com t-shirt. #3 is for a $5 donation and a "You Win with People" band. #4 is for a general donation to THIS drive even if you don't really want/need a t-shirt.
All t-shirts are white (short sleeve) with the CoachTressel.com logo on the front.

Please, please, please send your thanks to the good folks at m2marketing and coachtressel.com. Their generosity and concern for Clarity makes this all possible. Ryan and Meg have received my thanks previously, but I want to say it again ... Thanks guys ... you're the best!
A final note: BuckeyePlanet has always been a free site. The intent is to keep it that way. A big reason for that has been the company that "hosts" BP. They have not charged us AT ALL up until this point. Starting last month, they informed us that they would need to charge for their services, albeit at a greatly reduced rate. So, we now have a monthly charge that we need to cover. It is still very low considering the service we enjoy. Currently we need to cover $150 per month. I hope we can handle this as a community (thru donations) and avoid saddling Clarity with another expense. I'm hoping a group of people would just pledge to send in a few dollars per month. 15 folks chipping in $10, or 30 folks giving $5 ... you get the idea. Even 100 pitching in $1.50 would work. The point is that the costs are very reasonable and I'm hoping others will join me in committing to a small monthly donation ... or a slightly larger donation on some other time frame.
