The decision to wait until Spring to see if Green's known elbow issue would magically heal itself killed this season. Green and Burns 1-2 is as good as any in baseball. Abbott, Lowder, Lodolo 3-4-5 should be a very solid starting rotation.
Of course you'd still have a shit bullpen and 4-5 #9 hitters in your lineup but the starting rotation should not be a fucking problem.

I hate the modern approach to hitting so much. Schlitter is a strikeout pitcher. I don't know, maybe change your approach at the plate and try to make some contact instead of treating it like every other AB against every other pitcher where you swing as hard as you possibly can? Or just strike out 13 times in 22 ABs. Either way.

Elly back Tuesday and Greene is on the way. If they can scratch back to .500 by the time Hunter gets back, it'll at least be interesting the second half
