2 innings for Burns yesterday. 12 all spring. I'd love for someone in modern baseball to explain to me how pitching so few innings gets you ready to pitch a lot in the regular season (these new pitching regimens certainly haven't lessened pitcher injuries. if anything it seems like there more pitching injuries than ever)

Only after they waste so much time this year trying to rehab it without surgery that the inevitable surgery takes away the 2027 season too.
Timing matters as much as the career threatening injury. Any amateur can just run off and get something fixed as soon as it happens.
These are professionals we are talking about here.

I read last week they were thinking about moving Marte down to AAA so they could get some time for the younger players while he tries to get more time in Center. What the actual fuck is wrong with these dumbasses?!?
