Gentleman, it’s occasionally been a pleasure this season. But I’ve seen enough of this game. There is no chance they score 5 runs in the next two innings. I’m going to bed before I get any angrier.

I’ll see you in this thread in 6 months when I’ve forgotten how much I hate these dumbfucks.

Way too much swing and miss for such a fundamental lack of power up and down the lineup.

I'd like to say the FO needs to do a lot this off season but they won't. Can't afford top end Free Agents and can't afford to trade prospects because you'll need them in a few years when your own guys get too expensive and leave.

They will do some low level bounce back 1 year deal thing for a LF then sit back and hope MClain gets better, hope that Stewart is the real deal, hope that 1st half Elly comes back, hope that Marte continues to develop, hope that Hayes back hold up, hope Friedl stays healthy and hope Burns and Lowder are close to MLB ready etc etc etc.

Lock out is coming in 2027 anyway so who gives a fuck really?

There might be fundamental payroll distribution changes coming some day, based on the "discussion" the commish had with that cro-magnon Phillies player, Bryce Harper, in the Phils' locker room in July. So we'll see how things change, if at all, and the effects.
