Cincinnati Reds (2025 is our year! Haha thats actually funny)

The 28-year-old Hayes, who is signed through 2029, is hitting .236 with two home runs and 36 RBIs in 369 at-bats this season for Pittsburgh, where he has spent the entirety of his six-year career.

He wasn’t meant to be an offensive upgrade obviously.

Best defensive player in MLB regardless of position. If you are going to have a team built around a pitching staff you better have and elite defense.

Now that said, he can’t hit for shit. RF, 1B and DH need to be occupied by well above average offensive players.
