I coulda swore Santillan had more than one pitch - splitter? slider? Seems like all he throws are fastballs. His arm is dead from probably too many innings.
He got the hold, while Pagan, who picked up his sorry ass, got a blown. That's bullshit.

They are soooo close to being the 3rd best team in the division! They can hang with any team... except the best three in the division.

Marge Schott showed the Reds how to win. You don't just wing it with a setup guy who's throwing basically fast batting practice pitches. Gotta lock down the 8th and 9th innings.

Three run lead with 6 outs to go - actually 4 outs to go. There is no excuse for not closing the deal in today's game. I don't want to see santillan again except in mop-up duty. But of course we seem to be stuck with him until an injury.

I get the strategy side of calling him up and of course doing it at home (tickets don't just sell themselves) but you are putting the kid in harms way.

Yankees, Judge..GABP, it's hot now.....I hope he's mentally tough because his first MLB start could be rougher than a night in jail.

It's baseball so anything can happen but good things happen to the Reds about never times a decade so...

Better throw 5 total fastball or he wont last 2 innings.

They have won 10 of 15, would have been 11 of 15 with Santillan not setting up on Saturday, which apparently is in effect now, consistent with my request. Nice job by Richardson today.

The bullpen is not real great in general, but it feels like it's mainly Santillan dragging them down. They just need to fix the 8th inning, then I think they'll be pretty good.

Zulueta is back on the team. Maybe they intend to move Zulu into the setup role fairly soon and hopefully going with Richardson in the 8th until Zulu is ready. Just hoping he can do it.

Welcome back Matty. Sure did miss you.

If he's really back then we have the best up the middle team in baseball. @Jaxbuck been saying it so maybe we get Espinal to go full time at 3rd and keep Steer on the come up and we might be in business. Just need the corner outfield to get right. Where have we heard that before?

Also if Marte comes back up playing like be was before the injury he's at 3rd full time in my book. CES is on notice on my opinion and Benson can rake but his Defense is brutally give and take like Fraley. Need them to catch fire after the All Star break.

What am I missing?
