Cincinnati Reds (2025 is our year! Haha thats actually funny)

Middle game of a set. They usually win these.

Now watch tomorrow when that can win a series. You can feel the throats tightening up already.
Yes, but it's Abbott vs a 4+ era guy for them. I like our chances this time. Brewers have faced pretty much our entire bullpen* without scoring a run on them, although I realize seeing Santillan for the second time in the series tomorrow could be good for the Brewers.
* Except Richardson, who is now back on the team with his 1.32 era. Sad to see Mey get sent down, though.

Pretty sure they'll defy my logic again. :(

This is information that can be useful BEFORE the game, sir. Parlaying when the Reds choose to suck with the White Sox always sucking could help me pay for my next vacation.

Holy shit, I didn't realize they released Miley on Sunday. Then signed him today.

Looking up transactions I was reminded of two more injured players - Noelvi Marte and Sam Moll, both of which aren't on the IL any longer - guess they're still in AAA, don't know. Carson Spiers is on the 60-day. A few of the starters playing now missed spring training because of, wait for it, injury.

"Something needs to change, John." Yes, Barry, they need a whole new training philosophy. What they've been doing (apparently sitting on the couch eating chips October - February) ain't working.

Off the top of my head, Candelario, CES, Hays, Spiers, Lowder, Greene are all on the IL and Marte and Moll are off the IL, but missing. That is a big chunk of this $60M team that isn't playing. Edit: oops, $115M payroll - I think it was $60M in November? Nick Martinez is making $21M.
