If you were asking me for the Reds' ideal offseason within the parameters of being at least somewhat realistic, I'll go with trading for Tyler Glasnow, signing Eduardo Rodríguez and signing one of the possible DHs mentioned here. They can pull all of this off with prospect currency and by spending money that they can absolutely afford to spend.

I’m hesitant in Glasnow with his injury history. Especially when it comes to trading with Tampa.

I’d be down with ERod, Soler, and another starter, plus a couple bullpen arms.

Personally, I'd buy a middle of he rotation inning eater and go nuts on the bullpen but they won't.

I'd retool the roster with an emphasis on defense so goodbye to India and Stephenson for whatever you can get back to include prospects.

Outfield I think at the very least you have to make a choice between Fraley and Benson then keep one and trade the other. They are two of the same guy from the same side of a platoon. I'd consider kicking the tires with the CWS around India, Stephenson, Benson and for Cease and Eloy Jiminez. It would likely take more than that but I want a RH hitting, everyday LF.

Bullpen augmented with FA
Rotation gets 1 more inning eating FA
Trade for that RH hitting every day LF

Just my .02
