Yeah, threw over to first then Johnson came out and got him. He headed straight down the tunnel. He didn’t seem to be in obvious pain, so hopefully it’s just precautionary.

Cubs and Diamondbacks lose, the Reds, Giants, and Marlins all win, so the Reds slide up to third for that last WC spot and are 2 back of the Cubs, but only .5 ahead of the Giants and Marlins with a W in hand.
Hold the tie breaker over the Diamondbacks and Cubs, but not over San Francisco. Tie breaker with Miami is not determined yet because the series was 3-3, so intradivision record comes into play. Marlins still have to play the Brewers and Pirates, and the Reds are probably going to need a sweep of the Mets to even have a punchers chance at that one. The Marlins/Pirates series are games 160-162.
Man this is going to be a wild fucking finish.

Tough game today so we're probably going to lose a step but hopefully we get the top of our rotation back in swing this weekend and get going again

Since the All-Star Break, Elly De La Cruz isn't just not a great player…he's been an awful one. Since the All-Star Break he's done this:
55 Games, 215 AB, 7 HR, 20 RBI, .181 AVG, .261 OBP, .340 SLG
He's batting .167 in September. He's only getting worse with each passing day. The league has the book on him and knows how to get him out. He has 88 strikeouts since the All-Star Break alone!

I wouldn’t get too hung up on it. He’s been showing a lot better plate discipline of late and value is measured by more than just batting average. He’s also ridiculously young.
That said, his K rate isn’t sustainable but I think he will improve it.
Team-wise this weekend vs the Mets, they need to win 2 of 3 minimum. If they do, the Cubs and Dbacks are in laying each other. Someone is going to lose at least twice. That’s a guaranteed 1 game gain no matter what.
Just win baby.
