Rare positive note and serious question at the same time:

What the fuck are we actually witnessing right now?!?!? Aquino is already the HR king in his first 100 AB's, he's second ALL TIME for the Reds for HRs in a month. He's hitting for a nice average, driving in runs and playing good defense. WTF am I missing? How is he a Red???

A lot of guys start hot, granted not this hot in terms of power. I tend to take a rookie season with a grain of salt, knowing performance could go either way in future seasons. I don't think he is a great outfielder - he is OK but I would not count that area as a plus for him.

He may not have terrific range but he's definitely got a gun. I can live with that.

I'm curious to hear what Eric Davis has to say about the new #44 because you can see a lot of similar mannerisms. Man I wish he had ED's speed though.
