Cincinnati destroys Miami,Oh.

I am in a respect/hate relationship w/ the scUMers. On the one hand, I love it when scUm loses in the regular season and laugh at their fans when it happens. On the other, it would not be a good thing for OSU or the Big 10 if scUM slipped to the level of a PSU or ND. OSU needs a rival at the level of scUM to focus on and maintain their own elite status-as a motivational factor if nothing else. Honestly, except for a couple kids a year-Gholston and Massey last year, OSU and scUM do not go down to the wire against each other for a lot of recruits. Most guys either favor the Bucks or the scUMers over the rival early in the process, and bring other schools into their final decision process-Oklahoma,Miami,Iowa,USc,etc. Of the recruits we have this year, I don't think any of them gave scUM serious consideration.

Good points, stx. One small thing: it seemingly came down to OSU/UM for Schoenhoft, but again, wins and losses wasn't the decider, it was reportedly mainly depth chart (and maybe a touch of reliable parental guidance).
