Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Ugly win - not sure what has been wrong for the offense after going nuts against the Ravens. They really need it next week to get their first home win.

But in the end, a perfect sports weekend:

--Guardians go down to 2 painful losses
--Bengals over Browns
--Deshaun Cosby era ends as a total failure.
It has been one of the weirdest seasons I have seen without a doubt. Offense went nuts against KC and the Ravens, then flounders somewhat against the Browns...they usually have a stout defense, but this year they have kinda had their lunch money taken.

For whatever reason we just struggle against the Browns, but glad to get the win against them finally.

how on earth is the team 0-4 at home? The season is sold out with rowdy fans. It’s a good home field advantage?

I would be so pissed off if I paid like 2k for season tickets and they were 0-4 at home
I know many who did... I'll see them posting tickets for sale soon enough and I don't blame them. I watched until about the end of the 3rd quarter just to make some food with my dad and hangout. We turned it to some shows to round out the night. I refuse to waste a day off watching whatever that was.
The best part about being 0-4?
Chance to go 0-5

Sooooooo...why was Joe so pissed off? I have multiple theories and zero answers when they finally got a blowout win. I want to believe that he has had enough and just expects greatness from everyone. But I didn't get that vibe, more like I'm pissed off at coaches and certain players.

If he is on a murder mission and going Darth Vader mode, I'm all for it though.

Bengals get Bears RB Khalil Herbert after Zack Moss injury

The Cincinnati Bengals have made a rare move ahead of the trade deadline.

The Bengals acquired Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick, the Bears announced Tuesday. The move comes hours before the NFL's trade deadline at 4 p.m. ET.

Herbert, a sixth-round pick in the 2021 draft, was in the final year of his rookie contract. He has had limited usage for the Bears in six games this season. He has just eight carries for 16 yards and a touchdown and has been a healthy scratch in the last two contests for Chicago.

The Virginia Tech product adds depth behind Bengals running back Chase Brown, who had 27 carries for 120 yards, both career highs, in Cincinnati's 41-27 win over the Raiders last weekend.

From The Bleacher Report:

Ja'Marr Chase Says He 'Didn't Study in School,' Talks Bengals vs. Ravens TNF Prep

The Cincinnati Bengals have just three days between last Sunday's victory over the Las Vegas Raiders and their next game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.

But Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase says he doesn't know if that shortened week makes game prep feel like cramming for a test.

"I didn't study in school," Chase told reporters on Tuesday....

Just sayin': I guess that isn't too surprising these days; in addition, he went to LSU.

Fingers crossed for tonight.
WoofWife and I were talking about JB's prediction of 7-2 the way home probably gets the Bengals in the playoffs.

I told her to probably expect one of the two to come this evening as Baltimore is a nightmare to play at (especially in Prime Time).
Freaking Tee Higgins is a liability right now. I am hoping Joe goes off on Baltimore again like the first meeting.
