Cincinnati 34, Pittsburgh 10 (final - September 6, 2012)

I'm not certain that I agree Illinois belongs in that group. There is SOOOO much talent in that state but right now they need a culture change. I dont think it will be one good coach but they need to really invest in their program and have 2 or maybe even 3 good coaches in a row and they could move into the top tier in the BIG. Zook wasnt gonna be the one to do that. Maybe Beckman can be the first in their string of 3 but I doubt that happens until they really go all out to take over their own state from the domers.

DId Nebraska fit into that catagory when they fired solich for calahan? I think everyone realizes that what osborne did couldnt last. The recruiting restrictions wouldnt allow them to remain that dominant and failing to accept that fact got a good coach fired and they are only now finally recovering.

Obviously Minny is the epitome of this phenomena though, mason really had changed the expectations and level of play there. If they kept him around for 10 or 15 years that level of winning might have actually become the norm there and maybe then they could have tried to move up again but they simply werent as good as he made them think they were.

I heard Mark May blew 5 guys at Pitt to get over the fact that Temple was the best college football team in the state of Pennsylvania this year.

UFM thinks it's a wonderful time for all the major colleges in that state to suck at football as bad as when Mark May blew 5 guys at Pitt.

Mark May slept with 5 guys at Lehigh?

I know Mark May blew 5 guys at Pitt but up till now I had never heard that Mark May slept with 5 guys from Lehigh.

Holy shit! I never heard that about him. Mark May slept with 5 guys from Lehigh! Why hasn't the media picked up that Mark May slept with 5 guys from Lehigh after Mark May blew 5 dudes at Pitt?

Seriously though. Why are UC fans called Juggalos?

No - we didn't fit into that category. We fit into the category of being foolish to believe the Petey-Shine.

Just like Pittsburgh.

Agreed. Illinois severely underachieves for the amount of homegrown talent there. They should compete for a division title regularly.

ORD came up with that nickname, and it stuck.

If you look at some of the UC fans painted up in black, white, and red, they do kind of look like part of the insane clown posse.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the clarification. I was having a field day Thursday picking on my friends rooting for UC.
