While I'd like to be optimistic following a win like this, history will not allow it. This is a rather schizophrenic team. We get shut out at home by one of the worst defenses, then hang 31 on KC...WTF! Hopefully this is a step forward, but who knows really.

Browns Pre-season 2007 game
I figured I would start this here that way I wouldn't have to start another thread for the Mods. to merge. What does everyone think of the Browns in their first pre-season game?
I think it is obvious Fry is the guy at QB. Overall I like the new offense, they are moving the ball well between the 20's but they aren't any better in the red zone.
Defensively, they seem to be getting good pressure at times but it's hard to tell if they have improved at all at stopping the run.
The big winners so far in my opinion is the O-line. Thomas has gotten called for holding a few times but overall the O-line is showing a lot of improvement IMO. They have actually been giving fry time to look around. Hopefully we get a few touchdowns in the 2nd half and no injuries.

First off I am pissed that the game isn't available tonight.
I haven't seen them play yet this year but I don't look for them to be much over 500 even if they do that well. The team is still too unsettled to do well the first part of the season.
Too many players haven't practiced together enough .

right now they are up 9-7 in the beginning of the 4th. The only reason the Chiefs scored was because fry threw a lateral in the 2nd Qt, everyone quit on the play except the chiefs and they picked the ball up and ran it back for a TD. If it wasn't for that they would be up 9-0. But they still haven't done anything in the red zone. Dorsey is now in at QB, but who knows we might see quinn in the last few minutes of the game.
