LSU had a rough go down the stretch, but I think the time off was what they needed to get Jordan Jefferson comfortable with the offense.

IMO, the ACC is just that weak. Sure LSU's freshman QB is better than lee/hatch but when you're facing a team that's extremely one demensional it's not impossibly hard to stop a team regaurdless of what system they run.

I don't know. Georgia Tech did stomp Georgia, a SEC team with similar LOS talent and skill position players to LSU.

ACC was not top heavy, but was pretty deep in terms of the middle-of-the-pack teams and 8-10 programs. I don't think the ACC has done bad for themselves in a bowl game yet. Miami, UNC, NC State and Boston College lost nail biters.
