Check out The Big House

Wikipedia is open for anyone to change it if they want, so once a meatchicken fan discovers the changes they will probably switch it back. People often have little "wars" switching things back and forth on certain topics (politics and other controversial things) and if it happens too much they lock it so people can't change it anymore.

O.K., I understand how it works, and I can see the picture of the outhouse now. Before, everything looked normal, so I didn't understand wtf was going on. I thought this dude was some kind of moron. Zincfinger, thank your lucky stars that a dude like Buckeye86 spoke up for you. I think there were about 15 dudes ready to bury you 6 feet under a mound of pure scUM.
I'd probably hand Buckeye86 some greenies for saving your ass. :bonk:

I know...but if you can just change whatever you want, thats odd. im going to go change random shit around.

Exactly. How do you know if the information is acurate? For instance, Thump goes out and wants to find out how many legs a dog has. If, say on the day before Thump visits, someone changes the number of legs from 4 to 37- that's not going to be good for Thump if that topic comes up in conversation. "Nu-uh, dogs have 37 legs. I'll bet you a dime!"
I think it's for the birds.

I understand what you're saying, but take a look through Wikipedia before dismissing it. Wikipedia is one of my first sources of information now, because it's so reliable and accurate. I can personally vouch for its accuracy in physics.

And for the record, yes, I'll be changing it back, not because I lack a sense of humor, but because Wikipedia isn't the place for this.

Well shit, I hadn't checked this thread in several days (nor my user CP, which contained a few dings - apologies are currently being accepted). The point, as most of you probably realize by now, is that at the time I posted the thread, the online encyclopedia had a picture of an outhouse in the woods as the illutstration accompanying its article on Michigan Stadium. It was pretty funny, although not half as funny as the vPomposity of some of the posts on this thread.

Commense untwisting panties now.
