depends on what you are into. the aquarium downtown is pretty cool, they have some pretty good civil war stuff. and i think its called Ruby Falls? its really cool, caves with stalagtites and stalagmites pretty cool stuff.
They've done a good job with the whole downtown area from the aquarium on one end to the Choo-Choo on the other. It's not NY or Paris, but it's a pretty good place, when the weather is ok.
The company that I work for puts on the I-AA college football awards show that gives out the Walter Payton Award for I-AA player of the year and it has been held in Chattanooga for the last three years and we have always stayed at the Choo-Choo. There is a restaurant not too far down the road from the Hotel that we go to every year and it is awesome. It is an Italian place called "Cibo", it's a little expensive but if that's what you are looking for, it's worth it.
thanks for the help everybody. I think I'll be staying at the choo choo as well. It looks like the weather should be decent for the most part. sure is nice to get out of columbus for a couple days
They run free shuttles up and down the strip from the Choo toward the Fish Zoo, as my girls call it. For what it's worth, it beats the hell out of Nashville, as far as I'm concerned.
