Chargers(-4.5) at Chiefs

It's a good thing the Browns went on that winning streak at the end of last year. We wouldn't have wanted them to be in a position to pick any of those rookie contributors now playing for Kansas City. It's better for them to be off the board altogether when your turn comes. This team can't be burdened with "expectations".

Same thing will happen this year. They'll win just enough meaningless games to screw up their draft position. They even suck at sucking.

Agreed. Might even be accurate to say they would've won if they had McNeil OR Jackson.

They sure killed my salary cap fantasy teams last night...Matthews got no running room all night and fumbled, and Floyd was targeted a dozen times but never brought in a TD. I was screaming at the TV in the last drive, because he looked at Floyd in the end zone 3 times and came up snake eyes :pissed:

Javier Arenas - Great returner at Bama
Jamaal Charles - Texas

Just really like their strategy of proven college players...I know its game one, but I think KC and San Fran are on there way to being good.

Don't forget Derrick Johnson (Texas), he played a good game last night as well. We'll see if he can do that for more than one game though. Charles and Jones in the backfield is going to be a damn good 1-2 punch for my Chiefs. I think Donald Washington is on the team as well right?

Was it just me or was San Diego getting beat at the RT position ALL night?

From what I saw in the second half he was getting abused. It's good that he knows how to hold, otherwise Hali should have had a few sacks. I was surprised to see them basically triple team Gates on the final play.

Phillip Rivers may have a lot of talent, but he's a bitch. I thought at one point Trent Dilfer was going to run down on the field and blow him. It was damn near as bad as the CBS college football announcers with Tim Tebow.

Derrick Johnson has been pretty underrated for a while. He's always been solid from what I've seen (and heard, mostly heard :p).

And yeah, DWash is on the team. Saw him out there a couple times. I noticed that he did not come in as the replacement for one of KC's DBs (Flowers I think?) when whoever it was went down. So that was disappointing.
