Chargers(-1.5) at Bengals

Nice game we have going here...

San Diego was down 28-7 at the half, but have completely outplayed Cincy in the 2nd half. Chad Johnson does have over 200 yards receiving and 2 TDs though.

San Diego 42 - Cincy 38

Anyone else think McCree nailed Housh's shoulder, and #58's leg was what knocked his helmet/head silly?

McCree ear-holed him, but I too think the injury came from the leg hitting his head.

It was still a classless hit.

I think it was cheap due to being early, not vicious.

They kept showing the wrong replay. From the front (palmer view), it was impossible to tell what hit when.

I reviewed the sideline shot many times via DVR, and it sure looked like he led with his shoulder. His head was knocked sideways at the same rate as his body, maybe even a little slower.

Looked a lot like the bogus 'helmet to helmet' call on Cincy, where it was really the shoulder that did the damage.

Maybe....I don't have that game on my TiVO so I will have to take your word for it.

I don't think the initial hit is the one that caused the injury though.

Needless to say, Cincy missed Houshmanzadeh on that final drive.

Wins is right. Dan Dierforf who sounded like Buck watching Randy Moss moon the Packers was completely wrong on that play. The hit was "dirty" because it was early, not because there was any malicious helmet to helmet.

Marvin's mantra since becoming head coach is "Do your job"

Hey mother fucker, do your job on draft day.
