What kind of moronic call was that on 3rd and 2. You're known for a power running game, having success out of the I to this point in the game, and you throw out of shotgun when their pass rush has gotten an immense amount of pressure on your QB. If you're insistent on passing, do it out of the I and slip the TE, or roll out the QB and give him a run-pass option. Or how about just running the damn football. The Badgers are losing because of stupidity.

Maybe he was trying to break some tendencies anticipating that they were going to have 8 in the box as they have most of the game....

A pass out of I-form would have accomplished that. And on that play in and of itself, FSU removing extra players from the box once they see the shotgun formation.

The Badgers are abandoning the run too early. Considering our prowess our lack thereof in the passing game.....2nd and 8 should not be primarily a passing down. Play calling has been questionable.
