I've always liked them
Got started tonight with the OVC and Horizon league tourneys.

Butler with the home court advantage would be the solid Horizon favorite.

OVC I think is a toss up at this point. Morehead had a good season and has an absolute beast in PF Kenneth Faried. Future NBA pick and OVC player of the year Lester Hudson leads Tennessee Martin. Murray State has been hot down the stretch and are a traditional OVC power. I could see all three schools cutting down the nets in Nashville.
 
Lets just pray for no rash of crazy upsets.

A team like Butler gets beat and now the Horizon gets 2 in the dance and a big 6 team sucks on it.

I know the Bucks are supposedly in good shape but you don't want to push it.

Add Utah State to your list. They are essentially a tournament lock but if they lose in their conference tournament (which I think they have a higher probability since they have to win three games where Butler has to win only two) the WAC will get two bids.

The Sun Belt with Western Kentucky and the Southern with Davidson may be close to the same boat.

or god forbid Memphis gets bored and loses a game in their tourney. They've had some closer calls than you would think in CUSA play this year. Less likely but very possible.

The Jacksonville Dolphins (remember them?) are 19-12 and playing for the Atlantic Sun automatic bid tonight.

For the first time since 1984 there will be more head in the NCAA tournament. I mean, Morehead, as in Morehead State who upset Austin Peay in 2 OT to win the Ohio Valley Conference tournament. :biggrin:

Northern Iowa and Illinois State are going at it in the second half of the Missouri Valley championship. NIU led by 12 early but the Redbirds have fought back.

The MVC has represented itself well in the Dance in recent years with wins by NIU, Southern Illinois and Creighton. The Salukis even made the Sweet 16 a few years ago.
