We were mulling over going and stumbled upon the most random scam...
Some dude said he was going to sell us tickets in his suite, right? Promised we pay AFTER we walk in together. Reiterated it several times. We call him, he picks up and says he's at the stadium parking. So, I asked him where he parked. Specifically. A non answer answer. He said he'd send me the gate info, etc.. Something was up with this but we figured we'd give it a shot. Worst case we just walk away. I text him we're on our way. He gives me a gate but that's it. No photos. Then nothing. And nothing. Weird. I turned to my husband and said Fuck This. We went back to the hotel and are currently watching in our night pants. Happy with that decision BTW.
The thing is, what kind of scam was this? What was he trying to accomplish? Waste our time? I can only surmise it was a mentally ill Bama fan. He probably didn't answer bc he was already in custody.
