CFP Title Game, Alabama vs tOSU, Jan 11, 8:15 ET on ESPN, Miami

i have looked at every position battle for this game. I see no way for the Buckeye defense to match up. I think for Ohio State to win it must be a shootout. I do believe Ohio State will move the ball and score.

Agreed. But Bama fans can say the same thing. This is definitley not a strength-on-strength type of game.

The winner tonight will be the team whose offense lives up to expectations and whose defense does just enough to hold on.

Watched the 'bama - ND blowout. One thing that stood out to me - 'bama's tackling. ND receivers and runners got almost no YACs throughout the game. Given that ND's backs and receivers were nowhere near as talented as Clemson's, but it gave me something to think about. But I don't think ND or Florida had receivers and backs that match up to Ohio State's either. Could be a last team with the ball wins game.

I O!

Before the Sugar Bowl, I was unsure if this team would be able to come together and execute a gameplan at an elite level. They surpassed any expectations I had. It was a legendary performance by Fields and the DL and an amazing game plan by Day and Wilson.

Now it's about doing it again, but at an even higher level against a better team than Clemson. Whatever happens, I'm just glad the team has another opportunity to fight and play.

Opportunities like these rarely come along, so it's hard to say I'm just happy they're here, blah blah blah, but it's also hard for me to have high expectations with big time defenders out and Fields having taken such a big hit against Clemson. Time to put it all on the line and see where the chips fall.

It's Dylan... unless the scout team Tuf also wraps his right leg heavily.

Right

To me, that looks like a limp that has far more to do with how tightly the leg is wrapped than with the injury that precipitated the wrap. Anyone who has ever tightly wrapped their knees for when they're squatting > 2x body weight has walked like that

EDIT: I might be showing my age with that last comment. Have no idea if people still wrap or not, but they did in my day. Haven't been able to squat heavy in decades without Taco Bell being involved
