I'll say it. Maroney has compiled a heck of a career so far. Yes, back-to-back 1000-yard seasons trumps anything that Ginn or Young have done so far. If he played in Columbus, we'd be handing him the Heisman already. Ginn is electrifying, but to keep this in perspective, he's played only slightly more college football than a certain Maurice Clarett. Oh yeah, remember how great we thought he was (strictly in an on-the-field sense) after he'd put together just ONE 1000-yard season? If we had a back-to-back 1000-yard rusher, can you imagine how loud we'd all be BITCHING if he weren't considered the consensus Best Player in the Universe?

Reggie Bush is the only player on that list ranked higher than Hawk that I would even consider trading straight-up for. This list is absolute garbage.

Garbage? Almost all the players at or near the top of that list are excellent college football players, and the best players on their team. I'm sure the fans of those players would say the same thing with respect to not being willing to trade their guy.
