Damn. You beat me to it. In the spirit of accuracy and realism, make sure you pick a punter first round, or something equally "worthless" to a team. Maybe a mascot? Or a tight end? Wait.. they did that last year. I know - draft a new fight song. I think that's why they did so badly last year - no fight song.

That's because ND has been at the bottom rung of CFB for like 10 years or so..if not for the NBC contract nobody would be talking about ND..Do u think ASU got as much coverage as OSU would have..if the same incident happened at OSU? who cares about losers? who cares about ND? Now don't come with the you were 8-4 last year wiseass comment..that was a blip in the radar after two consecutive BCS bowl victories..unlike ND' s slump.

slump is a huge understatement. ND has been consistantly embarrassing for a very long time. ND fans now look at their team's past glory the same way an Army or Princeton fan does. ND cannot be included in a serious conversation about upper echelon teams. I don't see Weis turning this one around anytime soon. The best thing they can hope for is to win some recruiting battles with the Michigan States of the world, and upset someone once a year.
