David Stern's, for taking a good sport and turning it into something akin to professional wrestling that is followed closely by bandwagon jumping Heat fanboys?
did you complain this much about the NBA for the last 7 seasons? Or did Stern turn it into "rassling" this season?

IMO, the NBA started turning into a joke in the early to mid-90s.

My turn to ask questions about historical fandom--did you like the Heat at this time last year, or did you only become a fan on or about July 8 of last year when LBJ decided to spurn the home team from Ohio? If it's the latter (which I strongly suspect), that's pretty lame--as much as I dislike UM and its fans, I'm not pathetic enough to become the #1 fan of a guy who sticks it to the NBA team in Michigan.

i may or may not have said this in the past, but I use to be a Hawks fan growing up because Dominique Wilkins was my favorite player growing up. Once he left Atlanta, I realized that with free agency and the way the NBA was a star driven league, that having a favorite "team" was pointless. So at that point, I just started following players that I liked. Once Chris Webber was drafted and traded to Golden State, I started following whatever team he was on. I always hated Kobe and the Lakers and when Cleveland drafted LeBron, I started following him pretty closely too.

I have no allegiance to teams in the NBA, I simply follow the players I like and root for them. Like I'm rooting for Durant in OKC, and I was rooting for Chris Paul in New Orleans.

now with saying that, i'm also not the type of NBA fan that's running around town wearing 7 different jerseys of different players.

So to answer your question, I guess, no, i'm not simply pulling for Bron and the Heat because he left Cleveland. I liked Cleveland when he was on them, and I don't have a problem with them now. I don't have a problem with any ohio teams really, other than osu. I don't blanket every team in ohio with hate like a lot of osu fans do with teams from Michigan. But that's probably because i'm from here. Are all the ohio teams my favorite teams? no, they are not, but I still follow them closely enough.

You're right--he should quietly stand there while Wade attempts to truck him and then jumps in his face. He should've known that simply responding verbally would've gotten him thrown out. :roll2:

News flash--guys do what Pierce did and get called for a T probably less than 1% of the time.

Jones got a T for responding to Pierce's "eskimo kisses". Seems like the refs were calling it both ways. Let me reiterate that he wasn't thrown out for responding to Wade, he got a second Technical which resulted in him being ejected. The ref did not throw him out for jawing with Wade.

Boston just isn't the same team without Kendrick Perkins. Danny Ainge should be shot for making that turrible trade.

Green actually had a pretty good game in Game 2. Not that it justifies him trading Perkins away. Anyone have a video of that clown move when he threw a towel way into the air last year to distract the Cavs player who was shooting a free throw? :roll2:

I hope Boston can pick it up, I don't want my Bulls to play this Heat time right now.

Also, i'm part of the 5% of NBA viewers who rarely have a problem with the refs. I'm 99% certain that there is no 'fix' on this series, both the Heat & Boston are more then capable of bringing in big ratings in the NBA Finals, and this itself is a high profile series, the league wouldn't be dumb enough to try and put the fix on a series everyone is watching and can't have a bad outcome regardless of the series winner.

really dirty play.

And not the first tonight from Wade. Go back to the second quater when Pierce gives him a legit hard foul. D-Wade does the same exact thing where he tries to pull Pierce down.

Wade is dirty as hell.

Also keep in mind the lowered shoulder on Pierce in game 1.

the series is over. the only good that can come of this is a brawl. once rondo's teammates see the replay of the takedown, they will be looking for blood, especially knowing that they're on the verge of a sweep. game four will be very chippy.
