Celtics-Cavs Second Round Series

awesome end to a terrible game. Officials give Boston a bogus 2 points on a terrible call where Z gets knocked into Cassel. Then LeBron goes for the tieing layup to be intentioanl fouled by James Posey but not get the whistle.

Fantastic job zebras.

Not influenced by the league at all, just incompetant officials. Hoefully we get some make-up calls in game 2.

It's disappointing the Celtics were given game 1.

Wow, Lebron was unquestionably fouled on the way to the basket...

I'm not too worried though, I've seen some good things; and if we can get better man to man play against KG, we still have a very legit shot at taking this series.

P.S.

In case I didnt make this completely clear after the Pats lost... I HATE the New England, Boston area as a whole. Pats fans who believe the NFL was created in 2001, Red Sox fans now believe they invented baseball and this only gives Bean Town a little more something for their already massive ego's.

Here's one for you Celts... blow me!

LeBron James finally had a game as bad as Skippy Bayless says he is.

This will be a very short series when you can't take a game where Ray Allen & Paul Pierce combine for 4 points.

Skippy actually predicted the Cavs in 6 against Stephen A. Smith. The Cavs are screwed wehn they can't get this win.

LeBron needs to attack the rim. It was there tonight several times, he just kept it on the perimeter.

This game at worst should have gone to OT though...the refs really choked in the final minute of this game.

I wouldint expect the cavs to get any fairness from the refs this series, it is David Stern's wet dream to get the Celtics and Lakers in the finals..................

I am not looking to blame anyone about this one...Not the Refs, not bad luck, not anything...

We just strictly did not get it done when it counted...The time when it needs to be LBJ time...He tried, but he just didn't get it done...He had an easy look at the hoop on shots that he makes all the time...

His jumper was putrid tonight and he did all he could to try and help out the team...He had 9 assists...He could of had 15 or so if guys make half the open looks he gave them...

Things I like, Wallace's defense on Garnett, and the rest of the defense...Sam I am got a couple looks from 3 and knocked them down...something that he doesn't usually do...He is good from the midrange, but not 3...

Barkley and crew hit the nail on the head...Mike Browns offense sucks...LBJ was never in the post all game, never on the elbow...He was out top...

I was going to come here and give Brown credit after the great play call where he had Boobie run the screen and roll with LBJ, but that was about the only good call he made all night...LBJ needs to create from the wing, not from the top...

But LBJ will not be held down like this in game two...Honestly I am thinking we could see one of his best games ever...

That'll do I think.

Get out the broom, cause no way do we get our heads around what could've been. Offense blew dick, LeBron did what he could, which if he scores 30.. We win by a bunch.. As we should've with Pierce and Allen so off.

Not enough.

Terrible calls both ways, leaning home crowd, as always though.

Boston has sent a message...LeBron will NOT beat them this series. I'd love to see LeBron come out and have the game of his life, but the Celtics will not let it happen. He had some chances to get to the rim, but players were sagging all night. Other players are going to have to step up. A repeat of the Detroit series is not about to happen....teams have learned. The Celtics doubled on pick and rolls, the doubled on off-ball screens, they left players completely wide open. LeBron will not single handedly beat this team. It is up to Wally, Delonte, and Boobie to hit outside shots.

It is imperative LeBron looks to score on offensive rebounds and secondary breaks. He isn't going to get any good looks in a half-court set. Boston is selling out. I'd rather see LeBron force shots at the rim than kick it out for contested jumpers.

Congrats to Boston for getting their winning points on a ridiculous toch foul. It's unfortunate a player gets called for a contact foul when he's tangled with another big and trys to release downcourt only to get called for a reach. That was the game.

Not to say Cleveland didn't have other chances, it's just frustrating to see the go-ahead points of a crucial game come down to a terrible call.

And I repeat my previous question, who the fuck paid Chris Webber to talk? We already know he can't count, so maybe they just hired him so they could make his checks real small and he wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Huh? It was one game Lebron will come back very strong game two. Not sure how they sent a message, he had a bad game shooting, he will figure their defense out.Should be a close series all the way but I still see the Cavs in 7.
