Celtics-Cavs Second Round Series

WOW. I always likes KG until that last shot before this commercial. Did anyone catch what he mouthed to the crowd?

What a piece of shit.
I've seen a couple "highlights" of Celtics games this year where they show him being a dick. I don't know if Boston changed him or allowed his true self to come out, but he seems to want to be more gangsta now.

Cavs even series with 88-77 win over Celtics

Associated Press

Tuesday, May 13, 2008
CLEVELAND ? Back to even, and back to Boston ? with authority.
LeBron James scored 21 points, jamming in a powerhouse dunk over a defenseless Kevin Garnett in the final two minutes, as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the homesick Celtics 88-77 in Game 4 on Monday night, May 12, to tie the best-of-seven series at 2-2.
Still stuck in a shooting slump, James dominated down the stretch and finished with 13 assists ? four in the fourth quarter. The Cavaliers, whose defense has been overlooked, held the Celtics to just 12 points in the final period.

Boston dropped to 0-5 on the road in the postseason, a stunning slip for a team that went 31-10 on the road during the regular season. During a short visit to Ohio, the Celtics lost their momentum in the series but will now head home, where they went 35-6 before the playoffs started.
Game 5 is Wednesday night, and Game 6 will be back in Cleveland on Friday.

Cleveland Cavaliers beat Boston Celtics to tie Eastern conference semifinals at 2-2

LeBron's dunk signals series is tied
Tuesday, May 13, 2008Branson Wright
Plain Dealer Reporter
LeBron James is in the midst of one of his worst shooting slumps, but don't tell Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers that James has struggled.
"You think LeBron is struggling?" Rivers said. "You only look at field-goal percentage; we don't. Clearly no one right now is shooting well from the field, but let's give him some credit. He's making plays."
Rivers' point was clearly taken Monday night.

Cleveland Cavaliers beat Boston Celtics to tie Eastern conference semifinals at 2-2

Thunder-dunk, defense ignite series-tying win
Tuesday, May 13, 2008Branson Wright
Plain Dealer Reporter
It was only a matter of time.
LeBron James came into Monday's game in his worst shooting funk in recent memory. He still did not have his outside touch, but his effort was more than enough.
James nailed a key 3-pointer and sealed the deal with vicious dunk to help propel the Cavs to a 88-77 victory over the Boston Celtics before a thunderous crowd at The Q in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James practices in empty Q to sharpen shot

Tuesday, May 13, 2008Bill Livingston
Plain Dealer Columnist
This is why he was at The Q hours early, without the screams, only the sweat; without the witnesses, only the work.
"If he's open 10 or 15 times for 3s, I want him to take them. Every time," said Cavaliers coach Mike Brown of LeBron James. He took his fifth of Game 4 on Monday night at a time when nobody could make anything. Zero-for-their last seven by the Cavaliers, 0-for-4 for the Celtics. The score was frozen at 76-73 Cavs as the sellout crowd fretted. There had been nearly 3? minutes of fourth-quarter defensive pursuit that rivaled Lt. Gerard on the trail of Richard Kimble in "The Fugitive."
Then James rubbed Paul Pierce off a screen by Anderson Varejao and took the 3 his coach never wants the shooter with Siberia on his fingertips to pass up.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel "Boobie" Gibson's 3-pointer was the big shot, Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers says

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Mary Schmitt Boyer

Plain Dealer Reporter
It may surprise you to know which shot Boston coach Doc Rivers thought was the decisive one in the Celtics' 88-77 loss to the Cavaliers on Monday night in The Q.
"The Gibson shot was the backbreaker," Rivers said after his Celtics dropped to 0-5 on the road this postseason and fell into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals.
He was referring to the 3-pointer Daniel Gibson hit to push the Cavs' lead to 82-75 with 2:38 left in the fourth quarter. It came after Paul Pierce missed a layup, so there was a five-point swing.

SCRIBBLES IN MY NOTEBOOK AS CAVALIERS AND BOSTON PLAY GAME 4

Cleveland Cavaliers' gritty defense leaves a bruise on Boston Celtics in Game 4

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

This was the type of game the Cavaliers won so often in the playoffs last season to reach the NBA Finals. They beat Boston, 88-77, with gritty defense. They won it on the boards (42-38), getting key rebounds (24-15 in the second half). They won it by not making turnovers, only seven overall and zero in the final 16 minutes. They won it by taking away some favorite shots usually taken by the opponent's best players as Kevin Garnett was only 2-of-9 after the first quarter. Boston's Big Three had six points in the fourth quarter. Cavs guard Daniel Gibson scored eight in those final 12 minutes. Or how about this - Gibson had more rebounds (6) than Celtics forward Paul Pierce (5) and center Kendrick Perkins (3). The Cavs won tough, and a little ugly. And that's why Boston is stunned to return home with this best-of-seven series tied, 2-2.
Here we go again
. . . the latest LeBron James to New York story. A few months ago, he was supposed to go to the New Jersey (soon to be Brooklyn) Nets because James is buddies with rapper Jay-Z, who owns a small piece of the Nets. Now it's the Knicks because new team President Donnie Walsh hired Mike D'Antoni. This comes from a Newsday story stating Walsh wants to clean out all the stupid, bloated contracts the Knicks have to make a run at James in 2010.
