Honest question here - I tried the search function and couldn't find where Cedric Scott (Darrion's little brother) dropped off the radar.

I thought we wanted him to walk on last year to play the FB position.

What eventually came of this?

Looking through Scout's list of 2006 OSU recruting targets brought back Cedric's name, as well as a Bucknuts premium article from late May.

He ended up at Mesabi Range JC (Virginia, MN) after failing to qualify to come here. Listed at 6-2, 246, interest (once again) in Ohio State, Washington, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

One of his teammates at Mesabi Range last year was Dareus Hiley.

With it being a JC in Minnesota, did Doc Tressel have anything to do with placing them there? Who does Hiley list as schools of interest?
It's a good bet Doc did have something to do with that. A while ago I had heard Darius "Superman" Hiley was at Columbus State preparing for a comeback to OSU. I guess it was a false report, because I haven't heard anything else since.

Darius has basically disappeared from the football scene. Even Coach Ginn said a few months ago that he had lost touch with Darius.
