Tough Draw

You guys definitely caught a bad draw for the tournament. It would have been ideal for you guys to avoid that regional and get shipped out East somewhere but I guess that wasn't in the cards. Good Luck. We got sent to Grand Rapids which increase our odds at the Frozen Four but drew Wisconsin in the first round. They are probably the top No. 3 seed and beat us 3-1 in Wisconsin back in November.

I definitely think Ohio State got in a very tough region. The first game is with Cornell who some think could have easily been a #1 seed. They won their conference (ECAC) and were ranked #1 in a power index:

If Ohio State beats Cornell they could end up playing Minnesota (the #1 seed), if they beat Maine, on Minnesota's home ice.

I guess when you get to the final 16 they are all pretty good teams, and they all are capable of beating anyone else on a given night.
