He's a Buckeye ... Everyone else now says their schools before the games. So now being the Buckeye he is ... He is starting a New trend . One Game he says THEE Ohio State University, Next game he says Springbrook HS, and then the next week he says St. Ann's Hospital , where he was born at 2:54pm. I Like the idea !!!
See there is always a logical explanation. OSU players always - Trend Setters !!!

Well that explains everything. I don't like it, but godamnit, nobody asked me. Thanks for clearing that up StoRMin.

Guess I got a little worked up when Coles did it, and I knew his history, then Shawn Springs did the same thing.

Give it a fucking break already. The man attended Sprigbrook HS which is only a few miles from FedEx field - he is merely showing some love to a school that he appreciates. Springs appears on a weekly Redskins show with Doc Walker and Chic Hernandez that is usually shown on Monday nights on Comcast Sportsnet. I have watched this show for 3 consecutive weeks, and each week Springs drives Doc Walker nuts with his Ohio State cheerleading. Jesus Christ, find something else to bitch about.
