REPORTS: DICK LEBEAU WON'T RETURN TO THE TITANS, WEIGHING RETIREMENT
One of the most legendary figures in the NFL coaching circles could be at a career's end.
Titans beat reporter Paul Kuharsky reported Monday morning that defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, who just wrapped up his 59th consecutive year in the NFL as a player or coach, won't join Mike Vrabel's new staff.
The Tennessean previously reported LeBeau would be "comfortable retiring" if Vrabel did not retain him.
LeBau played defensive back on Woody Hayes' 1957 Ohio State national championship team before going on to a storied career with the Detroit Lions after the Cleveland Browns, who selected him in the fifth round of the 1959 NFL Draft, cut him in training camp.
