I think if you just told him that's what you were offering he'd accept. I dunno what the league rules are about lying about a trade, but it would probably take 3 or 4 weeks before he realized you didn't actually have the rights to Gannon.

That's the first thing I thought of too. If they were talking a 2nd or 3rd rounder I'd do it, but if it's a 5th or 6th i'd keep Gerbil and give up a pick. I'd love to see Buckeyes on the corners, but Ward is playing well enough that life is going to be hell on the other side. The Raven's actually went after him and it didn't work out very well. Other teams had been avoiding Ward. How about Boddy-Calhoun and a 5th?
